About this job

Ensure hotel guest satisfaction and revenues are optimized through check -in, check­

out, and attentive coordination of hotel services for the guest.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Register guests checking in and /or checking out of the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Prepare for group check-ins and check-outs, and respond to hotel service requests.
  • Book guest reservations and coordinate with reservations center.
  • Resolve guest complains and make appropriate management and co-workers aware of action(s).
  • Process customer payments according to established policies and procedures. Responsible for balancing drawer at the end of shift.
  • Perform telecommunications for hotel guests in addition to inter-departmental communications.
  • Notify supervisor of incidents of conflicts that affect normal business operations or guest services.
  • Maintain procedures for security of monies, guest security and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain procedures for hotel accounting, credit control and handling of financial transactions.
  • Perform in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Must remain visible and standing at assigned station for guest service during eight hour shift.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times in accordance with hotel standards of Grooming and standards of Conduct.
  • Perform any duty requested of you by your supervisor.
  • Must always make satisfaction a priority within the guidelines.
  • Be willing to assist in any other department/task that may ask for his/herassistance.
