Remedy Intelligent Staffing is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk to work for a reputable company in the Madison area. If you are looking for a great opportunity with a growing company and have previous shipping, receiving or forklift experience please consider this position. We currently have 1st (6 am to 2:30 pm) and 2nd (2 pm to 10:30 pm) shift positions available.
Job description
•Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
• Efficiently stack and store materials in the appropriate areas
•Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
•Pull and prepare product for shipment and ensure accuracy is met
•Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion
•Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory is met
•Ensure proper stock is assembled using a computer database system
•Relay product and shipment information to clients or associate
•Use a stand up and sit down forklift
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
•Shipping and receiving experience preferred
•Previous forklift, stand up or sit down, is required
•Ability to accurately record and maintain inventory using a database computer system
•Must have reliable transportation
•Reliability and punctuality are a must
• Must be a team player, with good communication skills
• Must be safety conscious
