The Vice President of Asset Management and Real Estate will be responsible for real estate and asset management activities for a portfolio of company owned, leased and joint venture hotels within the United States. The Team Member will work closely with other Real Estate and Asset Management Team Members and internal departments (Brands, Legal, Finance, Hotel Operations, Treasury, Feasibility, Design and Construction) as well as joint venture partners and others to develop and implement strategies to optimize EBITDA and long term asset value.

What will I be doing?

The Vice President of Asset Management and Real Estate will manage and coordinate key investment and capital investment decisions with respect to the wholly owned, joint venture and leased hotels. The Team Member will manage real estate restructures, refinancing’s, partner relations, repositioning and lease renewal and renegotiation activities.

Other key priorities are listed below:

Develop an ownership and investment strategy for assigned hotels including identifying asset redevelopment, highest and best use and repositioning opportunities designed to optimize asset value

Manage and coordinate all planning activities related to developing and implementing annual and long term hotel capital investment plans for assigned hotels

Address and resolve day-to-day ownership issues for assigned portfolio

Review and critique hotel operating plans with the operations team to work towards optimizing individual hotel EBITDA

Interact with key internal stakeholders that influence the real estate strategy for assigned hotels including members of the Hotel Operations, Design and Construction, Feasibility, Brand, Treasury and Legal teams

Manage relationships with key external stakeholders that influence the real estate strategy for assigned hotels including joint venture partners, consultants and advisors as appropriate

Prepare investment memoranda or related documents with respect to assigned real estate projects for approval by Hilton Worldwide's investment committee, executive committee and others in senior management

Assist and support in various assignments and special projects as needed including presentations and investment committee documents

BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree

A minimum of five (5) years of related Real Estate and Asset Management experience

A minimum of three (3) years of prior Hotel Asset Management experience

Ability to travel at least 40% of the time

It would be advantageous in thisposition for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

A minimum of ten (10) years of related Real Estate and Asset Management experience

A minimum of four (4) years of experience at the Director level leading teams

A minimum of five (5) years of prior Hotel Asset Management experience What benefits will I receive?
