Our growth has created an excellent opportunity for Material Handlers in the Receiving and Shipping Department. This position is Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Successful candidates must be available for overtime, as needed, during the week and on Saturdays.
This position requires the following:
* Previous warehouse and/or material handling and forklift experience with ability to be forklift certified
* Ability to stand/walk throughout the shift
* Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
* Previous experience with scanner gun
* Good math/computer skills are critical
* Strong communication skills
Candidates in the Receiving Department will be responsible for unloading and stocking incoming materials to be used in our manufacturing processes, accurately pulling raw materials and production orders, delivering orders to the production departments and assisting with accurate cycle counting. Additionally, all material handlers are responsible for keeping the warehouse and their assigned work areas safe and clean.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing internal and external customers quickly and accurately by pulling finished goods orders for shipment, verifying the accuracy of the batches and tickets while utilizing scanning functions, loading and unloading trucks (by forklift and by hand), and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy. Additionally, all Material Handlers are responsible for keeping the warehouse and their assigned work areas safe and clean.
We are looking for dependable and energetic candidates with a verifiable work history.
