Position Purpose:



Position involves working within a team environment to facilitate the pick, pack and shipping of customer orders within the realm of company guidelines

Essential Job Functions:

The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities w ith or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Oversees staff to assure assigned task are carried out according to company guidelines. This is accomplished by:




Schedules job assignments;

Monitors workers to answer questions and facilitate accuracy and productivity;

  • Communicates between department supervisory staff to monitor work flow;
  • Conducts performance appraisals;
  • Communicates disciplinary records and actions;
  • Runs reports that monitor work flow and accuracy;
  • Assures staff is working in a safe manner;
  • Oversees company’s commitment to a clean workplace;
  • Maintains harmony amongst workers and resolves conflicts and or grievances;
  • Rectifies safety concerns or communicates corrective action to appropriate parties;
  • Cross train and develop staff members;
  • Leads stretching sessions and conducts short staff meetings; and
  • Communicates with management and support staff of issues and concerns.


Supervisory Responsibility:



This position is a supervisor position which requires the training; coaching, monitoring and mentoring of newly hired or transferred workers.

Work Environment:

  • Capable of lift and carry up to 50lbs;
  • Regular push/pull up to 30lbs;
  • Capable of: standing, walking, close/peripheral & color vision, reaching above shoulder level, climbing stairs/stools, working on second & third story enclosed work level, bending, kneeling, squatting, talking, hearing and grasping;
  • Work environment is a typical non-air conditioned 250,000 square foot warehouse;
  • Air circulating fans;
  • Ceiling height up to 40 feet;
  • Concrete walking surfaces; and
  • Noise levels less than 80dB.


Minimum Requirements:
Education/Experience:

  • Associates Degree in a related field and or equivalent work experience is desired.
  • Basic computer knowledge, ability to add, subtract and divide three digit numbers, ability to read and write basic messages and verbally communicate to fellow workers and supervisors are required.
