HomCo Lumber & Hardware is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic paint delivery driver to join our team. As a delivery driver, your primary responsibility will be to get the right products to the right people at the right time. You will interact with customers as the face of HomCo Lumber & Hardware throughout the day. Other responsibilities will include:
- Stock shelves, clean product, and help maintain inventory levels
- Drive throughout Northern Arizona using maps & directions
- Make deliveries in a timely, neat and professional manner
- Work closely with inventory lead to establish a system
- Use both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Communicate with and assist paint counter associates
- Build long-term relationships with your customers
- Assist customers in the store
- Inspect deliveries
- Lift up to 75-lbs.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering customer care on an everyday basis, and must also have an excellent driving aptitude. Paint experience is a plus.
Other requirements:
- No more than TWO moving violations AND/OR fault accidents in the last three years
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Stamina to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
- Motivated to learn
- Valid driver's license
- No DWI convictions
- Minimum of 18 years of age
