As a part of our continued growth, we are searching for a new Supervisor of Utilization Management to join our team...


 


The Supervisor of Utilization Management is responsible for the supervision of Utilization Management including, but not limited to, direct supervision, counseling and corrective actions, education, training, and audits.   This role will also directly assist the Vice President of Quality and Performance.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Provides direct day to day supervision of case management staff including licensed and unlicensed staff

  • Develops and implements new policies and procedures

  • Provides leadership and direction to case management staff

  • Orients/trains case management staff on case management processes

  • Works collaboratively with internal and hospital contract staff

  • Provides senior management with analysis of case management reports

  • Provides input and feedback on employee performance and conducts counseling and disciplinary actions as necessary

  • Performs Case Management duties as necessary

  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • RN license expected in state of California, CCM preferred

  • 2+ years of Supervisory/Management experience

  • 2+ years of  Utilization Management experience

  • Prior experience with Government Programs

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • Need to multitask and adjust to changes quickly

  • Prior supervisory experience of minimum one year

  • Knowledge of SNP, Medi-cal and community programs

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

  • Flexible to work weekends
