1st Shift - CNC Operator
Milling and Turning
The operator should be able to:
- Locate, gather, stage material to be machined and fill the work order handed to him by the production manager.
- set up material on the machine,
- program and edit programming
- perform first article and interim inspections (visual and hands-on)
- know to operate saw and drill presses
- Perform routine and minor maintenance
- Communicate status of work assigned and related problems to supervisor
- Keep tools and work area organized and clean to company standard
Flexibility required as far as ongoing training and learning, in-house cross-training pending on work requirements, good math and computer skills
Independent thinking, ability of working independently.
The position is for first shift: 7:30 an to 4:00 pm (1/2 hr lunch from 12:30 to 1:00)
Good attendance, Some Over Time is required, mostly during the week, occasionally (pending on work load) on Saturdays when employees are able to work without supervision.Pay based on experience and skill level Additional Information: CNC MILLING MACHINING Operator

The applicant should
Be able to set up, program and run CNC mills
1-3 years of programming skills
Be familiar with G-Code
Familiarity with any of the following controls a plus: Fanuc, HAAS, Mazatrol, Heidenhain
Be able to make parts from prints (blue print
Be experienced in machining prototypes and parts
Be able to read precision measuring devices
Familiarity with metric system a plus
Be able to keep close tolerances
Be able to inspect own parts
Have a mechanical aptitude and good math skills
Be used to work independently and efficient
Be dependable and reliable
Have perfect attendance record
Have good work ethics
Be flexible and willing to learn
Be willing to work overtime
Be a team player
Be physically fit to stand on feet and lift 30-50 pounds
