Job Summary

Supports all -ardware and networks in t-e Distribution Center. Assists wit- any equipment installation related to system installations and upgrades. Supports all -ardware and network related equipment including all related material -andling systems equipment. -andles t-e maintenance, configuration, installation and troubles-ooting of all equipment as well as support of cabling, RF network and equipment, PCs, terminals, printers, p-ones.

Areas of Responsibility

Provides -ardware maintenance and monitoring for all Distribution Center Systems equipment including monitoring back-ups of all systems, installation of new -ardware including terminals, monitors, keyboards, and printers. Configures servers and -ardware w-en necessary. Provides expertise and support for maintenance, installation and repair of PCs in t-e Distribution Center and office area. Troubles-oots and contacts Info Center w-en needed and provide follow-up. Assists in training users on PC applications including Notes.

Provides ongoing support, w-ic- will include systems equipment cleaning, contacting vendors and sc-eduling maintenance and repairs. Provides ongoing preventative maintenance of Data Center equipment. Maintains systems equipment inventory. Supports all Material -andling Systems Servers; understands eac- system and its relations-ip to ot-er systems. Understands, operates and troubles-oots all servers. Updates system configurations. Utilizes t-e management console of all material -andling systems. Assists training associates on t-e use of eac- system. Works wit- Systems Application Analyst and training department to support and assist in training on server use. Understands t-e mec-anical aspect of t-e equipment.

Assists t-e -ome Office Systems team wit- any sc-eduled projects related to installing new equipment, network or infrastructure c-anges. Provides assistance for any unsc-eduled installation or maintenance of equipment as a result of network or infrastructure c-ange

Job Knowledge

Network experience, preferably in a Distribution Center environment Ability to maintain, configure, install and troubles-oot -ardware in an RF network environment. Familiar wit- Distribution Center Material -andling equipment PC literate Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to work flexible sc-edule, including weekends and nig-ts Knowledge of networking, computer equipment, servers and required maintenance Understanding of Data Center ticketing equipment and servers.
