A successful Commercial Regional Operations Manager will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with 5 years related experience, including 2 years of District/Regional supervisory/management experience strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. 
  • Flexible, able to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth oriented and time-critical environment.     
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.  This includes the ability to design and present various DISH Network video, audio, and HSD systems, as well as a broad-based understanding of CATV, SMATV, Fiber, QAM system knowledge and/or RF distribution knowledge.

The Commercial Regional Operations Manager is responsible for profitability, customer service/satisfaction, training, internal and external growth, maximization of asset utilization, and achieving overall company goals.  Other responsibilities include:

 

  • Directing P&L responsibilities for regional departments and participating in the development of fiscal budgets.
  • Responsible for achieving regional installation goals, while managing and developing new business opportunities and strategies.
  • Manages subordinate professionals and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the team, while overseeing all hiring, training, and recruiting needs.
  • Provides daily leadership to employees within the regional departments.
  • Complies with management reporting and communications as requested.
  • Develop solutions for unique Commercial properties while working with Sales team.
  • Installation and maintenance of the solution for the property over the course of the contract.
