Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Primarily responsible for providing support to machine operators in order to get customer jobs completed on time as well as basic hand assembly work.
Hours: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm M-F
Responsibilities:
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Demonstrate consistent proper materials staging.
- Responsive to management and other department lead directives.
- Read and understand job ticket instructions.
- Demonstrate consistency in observation of safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- All other duties as needed or required
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- 1+ year light manufacturing experience preferred.
- Written and verbal English communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Able to stand for long periods of time; to stoop, to reach, to bend at the waist, to grasp, to move and/or carry up to 55 lbs
- Able to report to work on time as scheduled as well as work overtime and/or alter work schedule if needed
- For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office's employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful passing of background check
- For current FedEx Office's team members, must have received a Satisfactory or above on last performance appraisal
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
- Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
