We have a full-time/part-time opening for a SERVICE ASSISTANTS/ INSTALLERS.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Manpower is looking for excellent candidates with a good attitude to fill 20+ long-term Service Technician positions in the Odenton, MD area.
A strong mechanical background, safety orientation, and attention to detail are a must. You will be identifying mechanical issues while providing timely and quality diagnosis and repair of customers' products and maintain a high level of customer service.
This position is responsible for the diagnosis and repair of two-cycle, four-cycle,
mechanical/electrical and other miscellaneous equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
SERVICE ASSISTANTS /Pay Rate: $10.00 / hr
*Installs mechanical/electronic parts and performs necessary repairs.
*Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts using hand tools
*Reassemble and reinstall components following repairs.
*Provide direction to the Technician Assistants, as applicable.
*Creates detailed estimates and makes initial customer contact to sell the repair, as applicable.
*Must meet key performance metrics to include daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
*Successfully complete all Technician I training elements within required time-frames, as applicable.
SERVICE INSTALLERS /Pay Rate: $11.00 / hr
*Operate computerized diagnostic equipment to trouble shoot malfunctioning parts.
*Performs accurate diagnosis and repair of customers' products.
*Order parts, research part availability, and complete customer service orders.
*Follow the guidelines set up by the parts department to promote accountability and avoid shrinkage.
*Installs mechanical/electronic parts and performs necessary repairs.
*Forward product to next stage in the repair process.
*Provide direction to the Technician Assistants, as applicable.
*Creates detailed estimates and makes initial customer contact to sell the repair, as applicable.
*Must meet key performance metrics to include daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
*Successfully complete all Technician I training elements within required time-frames, as applicable.
Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:
*High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
*Must be at least 18 years of age
*Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
*Dependable transportation is a must
*Basic understanding of tools and test equipment
*Mechanical aptitude required

Hours: Mon - Fri 6:30am - 2:30pm, occasional Saturdays
