Aerotek is seeking an HR Support Specialist for a growing company in the Columbia River Gorge. This is a 3 month contract assignment.

This position is supporting the Staffing Department reporting to the Staffing Manager. The primary function of this HR Support Specialist will be:

Interview Scheduling:

  • Work closely with Staffing Team, HR Business Partners, and hiring managers to coordinate/schedule candidate interviews and corresponding travel.
  • Contact candidates to gather & provide information related to their visit (directions, hotel information, dress code, etc.) and answers basic questions about the interview process.
  • Processes candidate's expense reports for payment

Coordinate the hiring process for Contract Labor:

  • Managing the communications between the agencies & hiring managers on hiring needs and candidate flow
  • Tracking the progress of all open contract requisition
  • Clearing candidates for Conflict of Interest in ICIMS (Applicant Tracking System)
  • Setting up interviews in Outlook Calendar for managers to interview candidates
  • Completing paperwork in Word and Adobe Pro for Procurement documentation
  • Working closely with Procurement on obtaining approvals and finalizing Contract Labor requests

Other duties may include:

  • Performing a variety of general personnel/clerical tasks to include help in maintaining both manual and automated personnel records.
  • Liaision/contact for General Office needs such as: conference room scheduling, meeting teleconferencing, planning office events, and office/breakroom supplies ordering

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 2+ years' experience scheduling meetings and managing Email in MS Outlook
    • The scheduler must have proven ability to multi-task and have strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Some experience with working in databases or Enterprise wide software helpful
  • Good phone communication skills
  • Sense of urgency to fulfill short due dates
  • The ideal candidate will have HR administration experience.
  • Positive attitude and customer service focus essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, environment and perform well under tight time constraints and changing deadlines.
  • Be proactive- a self-starter
