Key Responsibilities

Accurately reads and interprets specifications; performs appropriate physical tests on products and materials. Operates laboratory equipment or performs procedures for viscosity, flow, cure, hardness density or other physical tests. Records data on manual or computerized systems. Interprets test results with regard to product or customer specifications. Informs management regarding non-conforming materials or products. Applies all laboratory safety procedures. Participates in 5 S activities. Complies with Heath, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times. Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Experience and Education

High school degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Chemistry degree desired. Must have at least one year of laboratory experience

Functional and Technical Skills


Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English. Must be able to effectively operate electronic, mechanical or manual laboratory equipment requiring precise adjustment of controls for valid results. Must be able to perform complex level of mathematical operations. Must e able to operate a personal computer and perform accurate data entry operations. Must be able to wear required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation.
