Am currently conducting interviews on my clients behalf for a Patient Access Representative. Qualified candidates should have excellent oral and written commmunication and customer focused with the ability to provide world class customer service. Below are the responsibilities:

This team makes the first impression of the healthcare company by answering and scheduling any new appoitments. Accurately register all patients and update demographic and insurance information for maitnance of accurate information. Collect co-payments, self pay deposits, and any other form of accountr payments from patients. Verifies hospital insurance benefits via online tools. Notifies Physicians, their office staff or patients immediately authorization requirements, use of non-participating facility or insurance limitiations. Obtains or makes appropriate documentation of authorization for scheduled admission, urgent care or elective services by the end of shift.
