Timpangos Regional is looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department!
This position provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Assist physicians with procedures in the Emergency Department. Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care. Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy. This includes pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population.
Current Utah State Registered Nurse license.
Current BLS certification (available after hire).
Current ACLS, PALS, TNCC and CEN certification preferred.
One (1) year of acute/critical care nursing experience preferred.
Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Basic computer knowledge.
Proficient in interpreting EKG.
