About this job
The Technologist assumes responsibility for assisting
physicians with diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures on patients
ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric.
He /she adheres to facility policy and procedures in the assessment,
implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the diagnostic services
provided.
The
Special Procedures Technologist remains calm in crisis and emergency
situations, and directs staff members effectively and appropriately.
The
Special Procedures Technologist maintains professional and effective working
relationships with all members of the Health Care Team.
Experience
Minimum of two years in a health care setting preferred.
Knowledge of sterile technique preferred.
Demonstrated experience in establishing interpersonal relationships
necessary to promote a positive and
effective working environment
Demonstrates documented competence specific to Special Procedures a
minimum of two years as a radiographer .
Certifications
RCIS Registry OR ARRT Registry (RT must complete VI or CI
credential within one (1) year of hire)
BLS
BAR: Basic Arrhythmia Reading / Recognition (In House Class-must pass
within 90 days of hire) ACLS certification within one (1) year of hire *LI-DH1
