POSITION SUMMARY:
The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner working within the Coumadin Clinic demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in planning for the care of the patient. The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the N.H. Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques and both clinical and administrative policies. The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner working in the Coumadin Clinic will be required to participate in CQI initiatives.
STANDARD I

Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate time frame.

Communication/Interpersonal Skills
Demonstrates good skills in all forms of communication. Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

Maintains education and development appropriate for position.

Adheres to established hospital and department guidelines & protocols. Supports hospital mission, vision and values.

Performs position specific job functions at an acceptable level.
ARNP and BLS required, recent related experience is preferred.
