Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room
TriStar Horizon, a fully accredited 157- bed community-based medical center, provides medical, surgical, obstetrical, emergency, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient services and a regional cancer center offering radiation oncology. Horizon has proudly provided quality healthcare to Dickson and surrounding counties for more than 50 years. Starting with a small group of doctors in 1958, TriStar Horizon medical staff has grown to over 300 members representing more than 20 specialties. All are board certified or board eligible.
TriStar Horizon Medical Center is currently looking for a Registered Nurse ( RN) – Emergency Room.
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse.
Cares for all patients of all ages.
Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.
Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers.
Promotes a supportive, team-work oriented environment.
Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of Horizon.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure with the TN Board of Nursing.
Critical care experience preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required within 90 days of hire or promotion.
Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire or promotion.
