Largo Medical Center and The Tampa Bay Heart Institute at Northside Hospital are seeking CVOR specialized OR Techs to float between both facilities. Live and work in beautiful Saint Petersburg and be a part of the area’s most prestigious Open Heart Teams.
The medical teams at Northside Hospital and Largo Medical Center include some of our area’s most respected Cardiologists, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Electrophysiologists and other specialists who are experts in their disciplines.
Northside Hospital was recently named one of Tampa Bay’s Top Workplaces 2013 by the Tampa Bay Times. Employees nominated their employers and were surveyed about several topics, including practices and policies that make these companies the top places to work.
Largo Medical Center is the newest and most modern hospital in the area, built in 1978. It is the only area hospital with all private patient rooms and recently received the gold seal of the Joint Commission.
Graduate from approved Surgical Tech program
1 to 3 years of experience as a Surgical Tech
Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) or TS-C (Tech in Surgery-Certified) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) preferred
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
