Tristar StoneCrest Medical Center is currently hiring a Medical Imaging RN.

The Registered Nurse duties include:

• The Medical Imaging RN will identify the patient’s needs, plan, implement appropriate interventions, document, and evaluate patients’ outcome; provide care in collaboration with other health team members.

• Be knowable of normal lab values.

• Demonstrate an understanding and working knowledge of normal anatomy, abnormal anatomy and physiology and radiation safety.

• Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well coordinated patient care.

• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.

• Instructs and educates patients and families.

• Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with state. Federal, and hospital regulations.

• Provides age and culturally appropriate care.

• Orients and mentors new staff members.

• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required

Qualification Include:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

• Current TN RN licensure

• American Heart Association BLS

• Great customer service skills

• 6 months RN experience
