Purchasing Agent/Buyer needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's Industrial manufacturing client located in Charlotte, NC

Top skills you should possess:

- Must have large industrial experience.
- Purchasing Agent/Buyer Solid Buyer who has bought metal/steel products such as compressors, turbines, fabricators, etc

What you'll be doing:

- Purchasing Agent/Buyer will be responsible for Procurement of industrial machinery and materials within North and South America. Perform purchasing activities within North and South America
- Purchasing Agent/Buyer will expedite purchase orders for the purpose of maintaining or improving schedules
- Responsible for all client interface and coordination involving communication of technical and commercial subjects.
- Oversee and participate in applicable vendor negotiations with respect to scheduling, pricing, and commercial terms and conditions.
- Travel, both domestic and international, as required to carry out assigned duties.
- Conduct activities with adherence to ISO 9001 procedures.
- Other duties as requested by the Manager - KSL ¬Procurement Services.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- No more than ten years of experience in industrial purchasing and purchasing support activities, both domestic and international.
- Proven ability to effectively conduct negotiations with vendors.
- Ability to effectively interface with both suppliers and clients.
- Ability to effectively interface with sales staff and corporate management.
