The Management Trainee Program is designed as a training path to enable you to take on the responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager with Toys“Râ€Us, Inc. The 12 week program combines on-the-job experience with laser focused training aimed at preparing you for a leadership journey withthe world’s leading dedicated toy and baby products retailer.
*_Responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager_*
The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for Front End and Back of House Operations. They provide guidance and direction to the store team in the areas of guest satisfaction, associate development, inventory control, human resources, safety, loss prevention and expense control so that the store may operate as efficiently and profitably as possible.
Our ASM’s are accountable for financial results, operational metrics, operational standards, and human resource management. They develop and maintain highly efficient operational systems and processes for the store. They ensure the continued fiscal success of the store as well as the satisfaction of its guests and associates.
# Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail Management, related study or equivalent experience
* Minimum GPA 3.0
* Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional environment
* Ability to adapt to change and uncertainty
