About this job

Responsible for implementing company standards for appearance and arrangement of merchandise. May coordinate signage for any special promotions. Assists operations with layout to ensure proper merchandise placement and flow. Plans and coordinates merchandise flow-through.

POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for servicing and maintaining all assigned locations according to a set weekly visitation schedule.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contacts receiving department to determine status of incoming orders.
  • Verifies all electronically transmitted data, using VOS system for CBI, and upload status report for customer.
  • Creates new orders and stocks received orders into display following company procedures.
  • Develops unique merchandising techniques according to corporate mailings.
  • Generates sales volume on particular merchandise by researching sales history figures in customer systems.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass the Background Check
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 2

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES -

  • Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly defined problems. Demonstrates skill in data analysis, techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in routine research/data.
  • Nature of work requires general supervision; exercises judgment. May be paired with a mentor. Work typically involves regular process checks or review of output by a coworker and/or supervisor.
  • May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel.
