The Assistant Analyst position is essential to the quality delivery of a range of key services to assignees, their families and internal and external partners of the Global Talent Mobility Services function. This individual plays an important role in enhancing and standardizing existing Global Mobility services, in support of our mission to have the right people, in the right place, at the right time, in the right way…and for the right investment.

International assignments are critical to PepsiCo's business growth and talent strategies. Through these assignments, PepsiCo is able to deploy its best talent against its most important business priorities and develop a truly global workforce to maintain its competitive advantage. The Global Talent Mobility Services function is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive approach to create a positive experience for employees and families during the international assignment.

The Global Talent Mobility Services function offers of international assignment support that allows PepsiCo businesses to make the right decision about how to invest in international assignments according to the business and/or development value they represent.

This position within the Global Talent Mobility Services function will provide support in the administration of more than 300 international assignees in more than 20 countries throughout the international assignment lifecycle to ensure we exceed our agreed performance standards.

The individual in this role must be able to work a second shift, on off-hours determined by PepsiCo, in rotating period of 18 months. The second shift was established to enable the Global Mobility Services Team to serve and communicate on a real-time basis with assignees and other groups in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Accountabilities:

Develop international assignment packages for developed markets with single-year financial costing, including compliance framework from legal, immigration, income tax, Social Security, pension and corporate tax perspectives, and tax and social security calculations using tax software

Accurately update data on a timely basis in the International Assignment Management and Human Resource Information Systems because timely and accurate data is vital for the team to be provide insights to clients and facilitate talent management decisions

Develop and implement procedures to centralize the processing and tracking of third-party invoices from 50 countries

Track and report million of dollars in payments due to PepsiCo from tax authorities in various jurisdictions and/or for international assignees

Initiate and monitor international assignment processes, including data transfer between home country and host country HR systems, relocation, work permits and payroll

Develop and maintain complete assignee files, which should include signed letter of understanding, signed secondment agreements and all other legal documents required in the home and host countries

Job Dimensions:

Highly technical and risky area that requires advanced knowledge of international taxation (individual and corporate), international employment and immigration laws; missteps could lead to negative PR, business expulsion and jail terms for assignee and family

More than $75 million investment via 300 international assignments in nearly 30 countries

Key Skills/Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting or business

2+ years experience in global mobility, preferably with some financial / tax / technical background

Strong analytical skills

Great organizational skills

Process and detail focused

Ability to consistently deliver under pressure

Ability to deal with demanding and changing environment
