L.A. Burdick Chocolate is now interviewing for a Part-Time and Full-Time Barista. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join a motivated and professional cafe team; work in a beautifully appointed, European-style cafe environment; craft and serve hot and chilled beverages of renown, and present delectable pastries and cakes.
Previous experience of working within a cafe, coffee shop, or a similar service environment is a requirement. Additionally, we are looking for the following skills and traits:
* Diligent and precise in the creation and presentation of product
* Barista experience, and experience operating espresso machines
* Professionally dressed and well-groomed
* Capable of transitioning from a sedate to fast-paced service environment
* Pro-active in recognizing business and customer needs and the fulfillment of these
* Work well in a team environment
* Hard-working, focused and committed
* Polite, sincere, hospitable, and friendly in customer interaction.
