Growing Multi-National Manufacturing facility located in Franklin, MA is adding a WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN to its team!! GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for performing inspections and/or audits of purchased parts, materials, equipment and quality control programs. Performs manual and administrative duties related to the shipping, receiving, storing, and the distribution of materials and parts. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Uses ability as a skilled specialist to contribute to the development of techniques and completes work in innovative and effective ways. * Projects include extremely complex problem resolution where independent judgment and a high degree of initiative are required. * Work is completed independently to determine appropriate procedures for new assignments. * Comprehensive understanding of general and technical aspects of the job. Assignments may be completed without established procedures. Perform and supervise periodic Inventory Scans. Execute Inventory Reconciliations. * Rebuild/Refurb Sub Assemblies to like new condition. In-depth understanding and knowledge across all assembly functions and with proven ability to apply knowledge in any production assembly operations or Prep. * Work Closely with Manufacturing Eng and AMD on process development for all new products introduction of assigned areas. Train associates on all new products and processes. * Continue to build on the knowledge base of Oracle shop floor control functions with the ability to navigate all production oracle screens. Train lesser skilled employees on Oracle applications and forms. * Requires the ability to load and unload an ESS Chamber by retrieving a PCBA and installing it into a fixture backplane. * Requires the ability to move a fully loaded wheeled board rack to wherever it is needed in the factory. SKILLS * Ability to work in a team environment. * Communication skills. * Strong computer skills. * Sense of urgency. * Able to adapt to change. * Knowledge of Unix, Windows NT/2000/98, Internet Security, Oracle ERP. * Mentoring/Coaching skills. SHIFT REQUIREMENTS Manager is seeking a 3rd shift person - Hours are Monday - Thursday 10 pm to 8 am.
