Job Summary:
The Chief Nurse Executive of Nursing Services is responsible for the department's effective operation and the continuous improvement of its activities. Duties include not only the department's internal functioning, but also how it is integrated into the organization's strategic initiatives. This position services on the Operations Team and is a member of the Quality Council.
Require Patient Population tab: No
Experience
Minimum - At least 15 years of diversified nursing experience, five of which has been at the management level.
Education
Minimum - Master's Degree in Nursing or equivalent
Preferred - Advanced degree preferred
Special Skills
Strong leadership skills and the ability to build alliances and influence decisions at all levels of the organization required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a high energy self starter with the vision and determination to drive change constructively through the organization.
Licensure
RN = RN license from NV State Nursing Board.
