SHIFT: 12HOUR, Varied EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Seasonal/Casual/OnCall/Supplemental HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 12 JOB ID: 1500003000

This position requires at least 1 year of cardiac tele (CNCU) experience as a Registered Nurse. Candidates must have a CA RN, IV Therapy Certification and a current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association. Other certifications may be required. Will consider training new grad from graduating class of 2014 (Fall 2013).

The incumbent provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. The incumbent is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally.

The incumbent shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy General Hospital and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.
