Position Description:
Bartenders provide guests with information to help them make excellent beverage and food selections. This is done by suggestive selling coupled with strong menu knowledge. You present ordered choices while maintaining a fun bar environment. Bartenders also prepare all of the alcoholic and specialty beverages for guests on the lanes while maintaining a sense of urgency

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Maintain a sense of urgency while preparing all orders for bar, bowling, and event guests
• Prepare all drinks according to company recipes, presentations, and specification
• Serve alcohol responsibly and in accordance with all state and federal laws
• Efficiently set up workstation and maintain safety, cleanliness, and sanitation
• Immediately input all orders into the POS system
• Make connections with all bar guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
• Accurately process all cash, credit, gift card, and event package transactions in a timely manner in the POS system
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area completing opening, running, and closing sidework
• Follow all restocking procedures to company specification
• Assist other team members with serving guests
• Ensure guests leave the bar area ecstatic to return by making connections and using their name to invite them back

Job Requirements:

• Must be willing to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts
• Must be able to listen attentively and rapidly process information
• Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while multitasking
• Must be extremely friendly
• Must be proficient in making mixed drinks, knowledge or beer, wine, and spirits
• Must consistently demonstrate accurate pouring skills
• Accurate cash and credit card handling skills
• Basic math and the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
