About this job
The Learning and Development Specialist will work within and report to Practices Organization within EASI. In addition to being able to set the direction and guide the design and development of all training and development initiatives that result from EASi's partnership with our Client, the selected candidate will be required to coordinate and leverage the resources of EASi SME's at our Client for technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Aerotek's Professional Development department to capture and transfer specialized power transmission knowledge, skills, and processes for transfer to other employees using a variety of learning and development methods and media.
Given the nature of the position, the ideal candidate will be required to have a sound instructional design background with proven experience in all facets of the ADDIE process, and be comfortable with coordinating multiple activities simultaneously. The selected candidate will also be required to be familiar with the utilities industry with specialized knowledge of power transmission procedures, tools and resources.
At least a Bachelors Degree (Masters Preferred) in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Organizational Development or similar discipline with a thorough knowledge of instructional design methodologies
At least five years of experience in the areas of learning design and development, knowledge management, talent management and overall human capacity building
At least three years of utilities experience
