JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The Villa Enterprises Cashier is responsible for the overall guest satisfaction experience. They are the master in the art of customer relations. No matter where they are or what they’re doing the must think “customer service/satisfaction”. Our guests/customers deserve it and expect it. It is a vital component to our World Class Service model that our guests enjoy their experiences. A smooth running front counter operation is a direct reflection of a great Cashier. The following is a guideline/job description that will ensure the success of the Server at Villa Enterprises.


SERVICE

  • Answer all phone calls within 3 rings, using proper phone answering procedures
  • Always greet the guests as they approach the counter
  • Create a great first and last impression for our guests
  • Listen and understand the guests needs
  • Encourage the “fix it now” environment when mistakes are made
  • Understand and buy into the Villa Enterprises culture, realizing the guest is the only reason we exist
  • Adhere to Villa’s timing standards for products and services
  • Make sure the guest feels important and welcome in our restaurant at all times

 

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE/ QUALITY

  • Ensure that all quality and Health/Safety requirements are met in accordance with Federal, State, & Local standards as well as Villa’s standards
  • Assist management with food regulations by making sure food portions are followed
  • Be aware of all menu items and special promotions

 

TEAMWORK

  • If you are not serving the guest, be serving someone that is
  • Always look for ways to cut expenses and avoid wastes
  • Help and assist management in keeping the restaurant clean and organized

 

PROFESSIONALISM & APPEARANCE

  • Be on time and in full uniform for every shift
  • Have a positive attitude and wear a smile!!! (it is part of your uniform)
  • Show respect and courtesy for fellow employees and guests
  • Accept constructive criticism from all levels of management and fellow co-workers- don’t take it personally
  • Maintain constant, consistent communication between yourselves and management
  • Set high expectations for yourself and for the team. Do not compromise your standards and beliefs
  • Have tremendous energy and enthusiasm when you work
  • Be relentless in your pursuit of excellence
  • Be the solution to the problem and not the cause
  • Make every action spirited in fun, while remaining professional at all times

SAFETY

  • Follow the safety rules provided in the Villa Enterprises Mgt program found in the Policy and Procedure Manual
  • Report any safety hazards to management immediately
  • Assist in providing a safe working environment for all employees
  • Do not take any unnecessary risks where safety is concerned
