About this job

Sutter Lakeside is a hospital and rural health campus located in beautiful Lake County overlooking Clear Lake, the largest natural lake in California. Lake County has a population of 66,000 and is located in a fast-growing wine region only 2 hours northwest of Sacramento and north of Napa and Sonoma Counties. The rolling hills are dotted with vineyards, wineries and tasting rooms, as well as walnut and pear orchards. Rarely a weekend goes by without a festival or wine event taking place somewhere in Lake County. The schools are great and whether you like theater, symphony, or music in the park you can listen to from your boat on the lake, there’s something for everyone. If you like fishing in world-class bass fishing water, hiking with alpine views, outdoor activities and sports, festivals and family friendly activities, Lake County is the place to live and work!

The hospital has a Critical Access Hospital designation, with 25 inpatient beds and an average daily census of 20. There are 10 outpatient beds, a 12-bed ED, ancillary services (MRI, CT, Nuclear Med, Mammography imaging, lab, pathology, 24/7 pharmacy coverage), surgical services (ortho, OB/GYN, general surgery, podiatry, ophthalmology, endoscopy), Family Birth Center, Intensive Care Unit, Med-Surg Unit, and Outpatient Care Services performing infusions, wound care and supporting outpatient procedures. The hospital also supports in and outpatient physical, speech, occupational and rehab therapies. Sutter Lakeside’s campus also includes two hospital-based rural health clinics, a beautiful community garden and the only Rehab Mobility Park in this part of the state. We’re the biggest little Critical Access hospital in sunny California!
