3M is seeking Full Time Production Operators for the Consumer Business Group located in Hutchinson, MN. Ready to be part of what's next?
3M Hutchinson is home to Consumer and Office Business and supplies a variety of innovative products and some of the world's best-known brands, including Post-it, Scotch, Filtrete, Nexcare, and Command. 3M Hutchinson also supports many other 3M businesses with products for industrial and personal use. The position of Production Operator located in Hutchinson, MN will operate manual or automated packaging or slitting equipment.
The Production Operator will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:
- Operating automated equipment
- Assembly
- Loading and packaging duties
This position will require working:
- Working rotating shifts
- Working extended hours
- Working overtime
- Weekend work
- Working on holidays as needed
Basic/Minimum Qualifications :
- Possess High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing plant environment
- Possess a Technical diploma or certificate with emphasis in mechanical, electrical or another manufacturing discipline
- Minimum 3 or more years of coating and/or extruding process experience
- Experience operating a powered fork truck
- Basic computer knowledge
