Humana is seeking an Assistant Medical Center Administrator to coordinate activities of the CAC Florida Medical Center so the planning, organizing and managing of resources are consistent with the overall operating plan, goals and objectives.

You will analyze, improve, and implement existing and new business processes across various functional areas, evaluating the effects of your process changes by quantitatively and qualitatively measuring them against internal and external benchmarks.

Identify departmental objectives and drive process methodology that will achieve all desired business outcomes

Model business consultation capabilities to align required needs with executable business solutions

Articulate a realistic vision that incorporates continuous operational improvements into daily business practice • Direct leadership of supervisory staff and ensure adequate staffing levels. • Ensures that work schedules and staffing patterns are implemented and recognizes and promotes teamwork. • Orientation and training of staff on center policies and procedures. • Counsels and disciplines associates when necessary; monitors productivity levels • Assist in developing and updating policy and procedure manuals. Processes daily cash reconciliation/deposits and other reports as necessary and ensures petty cash is accounted for and safeguarded. • Collects and submits monthly statistical reports to Upper Management for all center services and departments. • Develops progressive departmental goals and appropriate measures to ensure timely effective results. • Responsible for procurement of supplies, equipment and modifications necessary for practical economical operations. • Analyze data related to physician’s productivity and member services. • Works closely with the Marketing Dept. in developing strategies to increase and retain membership. • Handles member complaints. • Ensures that referrals are being issued in a timely manner. • Maintain updated documentation of licenses and in-services to comply with regulatory procedures.

Must have the ability to travel to CAC centers in Orlando and Tampa area on as needed basis

Associate's degree

Bilingual English/Spanish-fluent levels in both

2 years operational leadership, management experience within a multi-physician, multi-specialty medical environment, clinical group, hospital setting, and/or medical center

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point

Strong professional written and verbal communication skills

Ability and knowledge to lead positively and maintain customer focus

Microsoft Office proficiency – able to write queries, create forms, reports and documents in Word, Access and Excel

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Role Desirables

Bachelor's degree highly preferred

Project Management or Six Sigma expereince or certification

Prior experience delivering presentations to all levels of leadership

Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into action and use the data to impact and influence business outcomes

Electronic Medical Records/EMR’s and/or Health Information Management/HIM experience

Microsoft Access, Project, Visio
