This posting is for a Part Time Morning Server at the Hyatt Regency Denver Convention Center in the Altitude Restaurant.
Servers in Altitude Restaurant are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. Restaurant servers will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.
Must have at least one year of consistent high-volume serving experience in an upscale or casual dining restaurant.
Must demonstrate refined verbal communication skills.
This position requires a considerable amount of standing and walking; and the ability to lift, push and carry a loaded food service tray. The ability to carry a moderate amount of weight is required.
Cash handling experience is preferred.
This is a part-time position. Candidates must have fairly open availability for morning and afternoon shifts, and must be willing to work on weekends and holidays. A typical shift could start as early as 5:45AM and end at 2PM or 7AM – 3:30PM. Schedules will vary based on business needs.
$5.21 per hour, plus tips.
Part-time associates earn some benefits such as pro-rated vacation, retirement plan, free hotel night stays, and much more.
