Experis Finance, Manpower Company, is seeking a Senior Accountant with a Finance background to administer our global Fortune 500 client located in Boca Raton, FL.
The selected Senior Accountant will offer experience/knowledge of technical support and will have the ability to independently manage a project and use tactical skills to effectively develop and implement business solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and take appropriate actions to resolve outstanding items.
Prepare complex journal entries for assigned areas while verifying the accuracy of information and ensuring data is correctly entered into the companys financial records.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and US GAAP.
Prepare supplemental financial schedules as required to support internal management and external audit.
Assist management in the analysis of financial statements including variances against forecast and prior year.
May perform other related Accounting functions as required.
Qualifications:
Hands on in depth, higher level, General Accounting experience primarily focused on General Ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis (5 years)
Expertise in accounting for compensation, benefits and insurance (3 years)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Microsoft Office Skills including strong Excel skills (5 years)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (5 years)
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Desired Skills:
Oracle or SAP Financials (2 years)
Strong analytical skills (2 years)
