About this job
Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman, General Foreman, or Party Chief. Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities. Moves materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations. Operates rod and measuring equipment to assist in laying out construction sites and checking construction and installation work in support of construction and maintenance activities. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as direct.
