Job Summary To provide a full range of advanced and diversified administrative support to the Taubman Dermatology Medical Director, the Director of the Program for Clinical Research in Dermatology, and two to four other Dermatology Faculty as requested. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Taubman Dermatology ACU -

Provides administrative support to the Taubman ACU Medical Director and other faculty as requested. Responsible for coordinating arrangements for ad hoc meetings, ordering and setting up lunches, issuing agendas, taking meeting minutes and distributing to participants; follow up on issues, as appropriate. Maintain accreditation of Translational Dermatology Forum. Complete special projects as assigned.

Program for Clinical Research in Dermatology -

Provides administrative support to the PCRID Director. Assist PCRID Research staff with purchases, as necessary. Prepare expense reports for PCRID staff utilizing the Concur Expense System. Access international databases for review of safety reports. Serve as SAPOC (Single Administrative Point of Contact) for sponsored clinical trials. Maintain CME accreditation of PCRID Meetings. Cash checks for Sponsored Grants.

General Administrative for Support Faculty -

Maintain daily calendar and appointment schedules, make all travel arrangements, including international travel. Prepare expense reports, utilizing the Concur Expense system. Maintain faculty CVs in M-CV and NIH Biosketches. Maintain faculty licensure and DEA Certificates. Renew annual faculty memberships. Draft correspondence and letters of recommendation. Maintain CME Accounts. Sort mail, order office and kitchen supplies, and maintain magazine subscriptions. Order ACU medical supplies as requested. Other tasks and/or projects as assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications* A bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of administrative experience required, preferably in an academic medical center. Must be able to work independently, handling multiple competing deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications* A strong background in the Liberal Arts, and excellent writing skills. Experience with writing, manuscript preparation and submission, using EndNote and PubMed. Familiarity with University of Michigan Systems (e.g., Concur, MedHub, M-Marketsite) and medical terminology. Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro) also desired.
