The Xerox College Experiential Learning Program (XCEL) is designed to provide college students with practical work experience in their field of study, as well as prepare them for the professional world of work. Responsibilities:

· Perform analytical reviews and conduct research on a variety of projects within Global Procurement .

· Provide cross-functional and cross-organizational support of business process improvement initiatives.

· Support team in process, process documentation, solutions delivery and Solutions communication.

· Develop analytical tools and reporting to enhance the current risk assessment and disaster planning process

· Work closely with Supplier Managers across all areas supporting Consumables Development and Manufacturing to identify the level of risk and potential exposures within the supply chain

· Supports the product sourcing process; maintain a broad understanding of how the organization sources and manages external partners

· Work closely with commodity Value Chain Partners on various projects & objectives utilizing an appropriate supplier base.

· Assignment can include: Project implementation, Industry research, Spend analysis, and Supplier relationship management

Essential Functions:

Project management orientation (multiple tasks)

Independent work style (minimal supervision) but able to work well in a team environment

Analytical & problem solving skills

Strong written and verbal skills

Requirements :

· Students pursuing BS, Business , , Engineering, or Supply Chain Logistics

· MBA candidates strongly considered as well.

· Must have cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher

· Proficient with EXCEL and Access

· Solid analytical skills and good sequential thinker

· Basic knowledge of statistics and accounting desirable
