Die Setter/ Maintenance

-Die Setter would be mainly in the Disc Press Group where they would be responsible for setting dies in 3500 Metric Ton presses via overhead hoists and fork trucks. Will setup and adjust dies and presses accurately and securely and prepare them for produciton runs. Will include minor maintenance and inspection of tooling. Position either on 2nd (4p-12:30a) or 3rd shift (12p-8:30a), M-F

-Minimum 2 years die setting OR machining/mechanic background experience working in high-speed production environment (preferred)

Skills:

-large progressive die setup
-knowledge of hydraulic and air equipment
-ability to understand die drawings
-ability to use gas welder, lathes, mills and drilling tools as well as micrometers and calipers
-good verbal/written communication and math skills
-ability to lift and carry min of 50 lbs.
-ability to climb stairs and ladders
