General overview of qualifications
*2+ years clinical nursing experience (can be from insurance company, hospital, hospice center, home health)
*2+ years experience in case management and managed care
*Licensed RN in state of South Carolina ( license must be active)
*Medicaid and Medicare experience is a pls
Work Schedule: Mon through Fri 7-4 or 8-5
*Review inpatient admissions to assure appropriate level of care and medical necessity.
*Review admissions through onsite and telephonic review to ensure appropriate level of care
*Review and audit patient charts through onsite hospital visits (in Charleston area only)
*Act as clinical resource to referral staff and make appropriate referrals
*Provide patient and provider education
*Enters data for assessments, authorizations and reviews into the system
Pay will be based upon experience**
