Top Three Skills: Job Description: This position is responsible for providing study support to the Drug Development Division by compiling and evaluating data and preparing study reports. Individuals in these roles will work closely with assigned project team members, related management for the project, and the customer. Individuals in this role require training and supervision of their day-to-day tasks and are able to coordinate simple study types progressing to more complex studies as they gain knowledge.



Key Responsibilities:
*Assist in the initiation of studies by drafting, editing, and distributing study protocols, preparing data collection systems, scheduling and assisting with pre-study meetings, and assisting with coordination of study schedules.
*Assist in the set up of Provantis for in-vivo studies.
*Review reports for missing, inaccurate, or improbable results and for adherence to regulatory and/or client requirements and resolve data collection problems as needed.
*Assist in the preparation of study reports by drafting sections of reports, tabulating data, and incorporating tables and sections
*from contributing authors.
*Format, proof, and edit reports for correct grammar, punctuation and consistency in format and style; verify cited data against raw data; review reports for adherence to regulatory and/or client requirements as well as protocol requirements.
*Enter data into spreadsheets, word processors, or other computerized systems.
*Perform basic statistical calculations such as means, standard deviations, and percentages.
*Maintain study records and archive study data and reports upon study conclusion.
*Assist in resolving scheduling problems.
*Assist other members of Preclinical Research as a component of training and familiarization with the work.
*Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor.
Work Environment: Office in a clinical research organization.

Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in a biological science (Biology, Chemistry) or social science (Sociology, Psychology) or closely related discipline is required
*Knowledge and ability to use the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the particular field of specialization.
*Knowledge of software applications (Windows, Word, Access, or other database software, Excel).
*Effective verbal and written communication skills including correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
*Detail oriented; possess good planning and organizational skills; inquisitive.
*Ability to learn and utilize specialty software applications (e.g. laboratory information management systems).
