About this job

Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. May participate in making management decisions affecting the work. Team leaders who work as part of the team should be included. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following. Other duties may be assigned. *Sets up work area with proper, materials, parts, or products. *Places parts in specified relationship to each other. *Ensures correct material is being used to produce product. *Starts machine and observes operation. *Bolts, clips, screws, weld, rivets, or otherwise fasten parts together. *Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line. *Works at different work stations as production needs require. *Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line. *Inspects materials and products at each step of process. *Sends finished product to next operator. *Hangs parts on AP line. *Lines, pads, and assembles containers. *Wraps protective material around product. *Labels containers, container tags, or products. *Fills containers with appropriate product. *Records information such as product number, time, and date packaged. *Performs rework. *Trains employees. REQUIREMENTS *High School Diploma or GED *Ability to pass Drug Screen and Criminal Background Check (All charges are case by case) *Reliable Transportation *Ability to work 2nd shift with overtime as needed
