Software Engineer

Aerotek is currently hiring Software Engineers for an immediate need at one of our clients south of Denver. This position is for a Software Engineer and will be responsible for the software architecture, code, unit test, integration and verification for Unmanned Ground Vehicles or Collaborative Autonomy. Position will develop software using the C++ language in the Linux environment and work with Systems, Hardware and Safety Engineering to validate software performs to all requirements. This position may require occasional travel.

8-10 years experience. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a small team environment. Strong personal drive. Above average verbal & written communications skills. Experience with formal SW development process. Experience with using C++ language in the Linux environment and with VxWorks. Travel for field testing will be required. BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
