Our international hardware client in the Tigard area is seeking a Technical Support associate for their Tigard, Oregon location. This position requires one of the following secondary languages: Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Mandarin Chinese and German.

Primary responsibilities are:
* Provide Tier 1 professional technical support to customers who have pre-sales and after-sales technical questions.
* Fluency, written and verbal comprehension and understanding of English.
* Responsible for scoring assessments of all contact interactions including phone, email, chat.
* Keep up to date with industry developments, applicable operating systems, common and related software and hardware, and company policy to ensure proper communications to customers.
* Attend new product and application training.
* Involvement in non-assessment activities.
* Special projects, metrics reporting.
* Adhere to technical support policy and procedures for all customer calls or tickets received ensuring achievement of company set goals (KPI)

Requirements:
* High School degree or GED equivalent.
* 2+ years of Technical Support and or Customer Service experience.
* Understanding of networking support.
* Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity and experience with microcomputer operation, with emphasis on the Macintosh and Windows environment. Linux and/or Unix experience is helpful
* Ability to type 30 wpm
* Strong problem solving abilities
* Ability to perform professionally in a high stress environment
* Ability to be self-motivated and work under minimal supervision
* Strong customer service orientation with a focus on quality
* Secondary Language (Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Mandarin, Italian, or Dutch)

Rate of pay: Starting at $17.55/hr

Schedules: This is a grave yard shift. Hours are Sunday-Thursday, 11pm- 8am
