Aerotek is currently seeking qualified manual and CNC machinists for our client in the Bristol, TN area. Qualified candidates will have the following:
Tool and Die Machinist with experience setting up, and operating CNC Machines as well as manual machining. Making various parts for production and also machine repair.
1. Reads blueprints and job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
2. Setup and operates CNC machines.
3. Determines the kind of tools and fixtures needed to do a job.
4. Controls the operations of equipment or systems and adjusts the controls to exact positions with precision.
5. Measures work piece dimensions, using rule, template, or other measuring instruments to determine accuracy of machine operation. Verifies conformance of metal to specifications, using various measurement tools.
6. Performs minor preventative maintenance.
7. Conducts tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
