Our internship program is designed to provide students who are pursuing a career in Engineering, the opportunity to work and support projects that are related to their major so they may gain a broad understanding of Aerospace's end-to-end business and the importance of customer responsiveness, meeting program milestones, and improving product quality. Giving you actual exposure to the work performed within the Reliability, Maintainabilikty and System Safety (RM&SS) department. By becoming an integral part of the RM&SS test and analysis team the selected candidate will perform Life Testing of MEMS Inertial Measurement Units, support Qualification testing, perform HALT, and be an integral part of the FRACA process that investigates test failures that occur during test. The selected candidate will also work closely with other RM&SS engineers as well as design engineers in performing electrical stress analysis to assess compliance to component usage and derating. If there is a desire for some systems work, helping to support FMECA/ BIT, and System Safety analyses is also available.

The selected candidate will be involved primarily with various sensor related electronic devices that includes Ring Laser Gyros (RLG), Inertial Measurement Units (IMU - RLG and MEMS based), Navigation devices, and radar altimeters.

Basic Qualifications:

- Working toward a BS degree in electrical engineering from an Accredited University; anticipated graduation date of Dec ’15 or Spring/Summer ’16.

- Minimum 3.2 GPA.

- Extra-curricular and leadership activities/responsibilities.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

- Strong English communication skills; both written and verbal.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Due to Government and/or contract restrictions, US citizenship is required.

- Willingness to travel upon request.

Additional Qualifications:

- Broad technical knowledge and interest in Aerospace.

- Capability to perform electrical/electronic circuit analysis and simulations on linear & digital circuitry.

- Database (SQL Server & Access) and Visual Basic knowledge also desired.
