Honeywell located in Chesterfield, Virginia has an immediate opening for a Planner / Maintenance First Line Supervisor . This position will be working with a maintenance team dedicated to maintenance excellence, quality performance and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling all site services for the Chesterfield plant

• Providing relief planner coverage for vacations and training

• Providing relief First Line Supervisor coverage for vacations and training

• Owning the corrosion prevention (painting) program

• Supporting Continuous Improvement (at least 2 suggestions per month) and Safety initiatives (weekly TIPPS (Total Incident Preventative Planning Software) suggestions and Technical Safety Observations)

• Supporting Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS) with LSW (Leadership Standardized Work) and work standards (complete monthly written work standards)

• Updating SAP equipment and material records

• Developing specific task lists for routine work orders

• Estimating and initiating work orders for capital projects, both mechanical and E/I (electrical/instrumentation)

• Preparing, forecasting, and explaining cost variance for maintenance work

• Procuring equipment and materials and outside services with focus on fixed price packages

• Managing repairs, purchases, invoices, and receipts for maintenance work

• Kitting outage work

• Reviewing backlog maintenance notifications in SAP and progress P4 work orders

• Developing and maintaining mechanical maintenance documentation

• Updating bill of materials as required

• Developing and updating job plans for specific repairs / pieces of equipment

• Auditing and retaining shop papers and job history forms for mechanical maintenance

• Communicating with Area Coordinators / Mechanical FLS (First Line Supervisor) on daily activities and work priorities

• Administrative oversight of contractors, (including nested contractors)

• Performing other assigned duties

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

• 2 years of experience working with SAP or maintenance work order processing system

Additional Qualifications:

• B.S./ A.S. degree in an engineering technology or a Journeyman Craftsman Certification such as: machinist, pipefitter, welder, electrician preferred

• 5 years of experience working in an chemical industrial maintenance environment preferred

• 5 years of experience with maintenance planning preferred

• 5 years of experience with maintenance supervision preferred

• 3 years of experience working with SAP for requisitions, notifications, work orders, and Stores reservations preferred

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills preferred

• Excellent SAP skills required for requisitions, notifications, work orders, and Stores reservations preferred

• Knowledge of basic maintenance crafts including electrical, instrumentation, pipe fitting, shop machinists, welding, insulation, painting, field machinists, auto mechanics, HVAC, and carpenters preferred
