About this job
The IT Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting corporate and regional office IT operations including: tier 1 hardware and software support, new and replacement systems, existing corporate systems maintenance, equipment purchasing, and inventory maintenance and management.
Responsibilities
In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Provide tier 1 IT hardware and software support to corporate and regional office users
•Provide general desktop support and general office support of printers, servers, backups, and networking for Chipotle staff
•Maintain desktop applications (e.g., virus protection software, backup software)
•Troubleshoot IT hardware and software
•Configure new and replacement desktop/laptop hardware
•Repair IT hardware
•Maintain Quickbase data for store information, including credit card, gift card, purchase order numbers, and account numbers
•Order and allocate hardware for IT and software licenses
•Maintain inventory and receive shipments
•Provide excellent customer service, including tech support and installations
•Open and close support tickets to completion
•Perform periodic hardware inventory at Chipotle office(s)
•Provide training to users on tools and applications
The ideal candidate will:
•Have an A.A./A.S. in MIS or Computer Science; or an equivalent in education and experience
•Have one (1) to three (3) years of related experience in IT systems, including one (1) year prior experience working with computer hardware and software
•Possess a working knowledge of all versions of Microsoft Windows
•Work effectively with colleagues
•Be an effective listener and communicate with candor and honesty
•Possess the ability to acquire and evaluate data
•Be able to multi-task
•Enjoy minimal travel
